To launch new Skittles Littles as big flavor that comes in a small package, we maximized the design of one of New York City’s smallest micro-apartments and put it on the market for one lucky fan to live in, rent free, for one year. By tapping into a timely, Gen Z-relevant ‘little living’ trend, we were able to playfully weave in the Skittles brand while also solving a real consumer need — housing.
We launched the program with two Gen Z-relevant influencers, Dani Klaric and Caleb Simpson. Dani designed the maximalist aesthetic for the apartment, while Caleb, known for his “How much do you pay for rent” series, gave us the opportunity to show off the space and call for applicants.
